Photo Essay

1. What things did you like about the Photo Essays you watched? Why?

What I liked about the Photo Essays were the song choices because it went well with their topic
and the pictures came according to the beat or rhythm to the song. The pictures were all very
interesting and it was easy to understand what the story was about without using words.

2. What things did you not like about the Photo Essays you watched? Why?

What I didn't like was when I saw some blurry pictures from our Photo Essay and from others
because the pictures were harder to see. I also didn't like it when there was a picture for like 7
seconds or longer because they wanted it to go along with the rhythm and it gets boring if a
have to look at a picture for more than 7 seconds.

3. If you were to revise your own Photo Essay, what would you do differently?

I would try and look for a better background music that would really go well with the story
and maybe choose a different topic or story.

4. Was it hard to tell a story using only pictures and music? Explain.

It was not hard for us to tell a story with only pictures and music for our topic because the
pictures were easy to understand what was going on and what it was about. It might be harder
depending on what topic or storying you are doing since our story was about the life of a
it was very easy to take picture of students at school, which would be easy to understand .
